Birmingham Carers Centre provides support, information and advice to people who care for friends and family with disabilities.
Support Workers based at the Centre provide support to Carers on all issues related to their caring role. Enquiries range from social services, equipment, finance, care homes, holidays and leisure, to home care and many more. Support Workers provide Carers with information on topics, factsheets listing specialist organisations, provide advice, and signpost to specialist organisations where necessary. We also provide a listening ear to any Carer who needs to offload.
We respect all contacts received from Carers, keep them informed at all times with their enquiries, and maintain all aspects of confidentiality.
