 The Carers Centre
Birmingham Carers Centre provides support, information and advice to people who care for friends and family with disabilities. Support Workers based at the Centre provide support to Carers on all issues related to their caring role. Enquiries range from social services, equipment, finance, care homes, holidays and leisure, to home care and many more. Support Workers provide Carers with information on topics, factsheets listing specialist organisations, provide advice, free benefits checks and signpost to specialist organisations where necessary. We also provide a listening ear to any Carer who needs to offload.
We respect all contacts received from Carers, keep them informed at all times with their enquiries, and maintain all aspects of confidentiality.

Events at the Carers Centre
Various events and groups are held at the centre on a regular basis. All Carers are welcome, please bring along the person you care for or a friend. Please check the ‘What’s On’ calendar for up to date information on our:
Coffee Mornings, information events and sessions, Carers training, Carers outings and activity sessions.
Future Events for Carers
Craft and art workshops as well as Thai Chi, extend exercise and yoga classes are currently being planned for Carers.
